‘THE PACE OF GRACE’

Isaiah 40:31

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

This right here is about recognizing seasons in your business. We mentioned in the previous topic that running a God idea requires that we constantly go back to Him; we do things how He wants them done. We always have to be at the place of seeking whether we just started or are 20years in. You should never feel that you got it figured out at any point.

While the world is all about maximizing on the profits, doing whatever it takes, putting in all your resources, never sleeping, making haters ask if you’re hiring…the Kingdom works different. Sometimes God will have you in a season where He wants you to just take a step back when you really feel you should be working harder.

Proverbs 3:5&6

Trust in the Lord your God with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Trusting God means being okay with a season in which God is not about sales because He is teaching you a different concept. Not feeling like you are being overtaken by competitors because you fully understand dominion. It means being okay with taking your time to mentor younger businesses or even offer advice to older ones without worrying that they’ll take over your clientele, because that is the season God has you in.

You could have some ideas that you feel are amazing and need to be executed at a certain time, but He sees different. It takes such diligence to let go of your plan and let Him lead you into what He knows will work, whether or not it makes sense in the moment.

We, for example had been looking to restock jewelry before Corona virus came about. We, by grace had the funds we needed and worked on a couple of pieces that we were really excited about sharing immediately. In that moment however, God held us back from sharing any of them and it didn’t make sense having such amazing jewelry but cannot share. The frustration! He however reminded us that we operate differently and He knows why He’s holding back. See, the thing about a God idea is that there has got to be purpose in everything we’re doing, and sometimes, operations will be stopped till we get to see the heart of God in what we are executing, otherwise it will be in vain that we work.

It’s not always ‘go time’ in Kingdom businesses folks, it’s about moving with God. Remember you partnered with God to work His agenda, if it’s time to be quiet and hear Him, we stay silent no matter what other people in our industries are doing.

A couple of things to note;

• We plant and water, but God gives the increase (1^st Corinthians 3:7)
• We are fellow workers with God (1^st Corinthians 3:9)
• We have been given all things pertaining to life and godliness (2^nd Peter 1:3)

We have been accorded Grace to steward divine ideas, and it is by this Grace that has been given that we move, otherwise we strive. Everyday, we engage Grace in the space and season God has us in.

Zechariah 4:6

…‘Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit’, says the Lord of hosts.
